OK, who stole my copy of The Necronomicon...

...and possessed Keith Olbermann with the spirit of Edward R Murrow. The guy used to be on SportsCenter for Christ's sake!

It is certainly a well-written and enjoyable sermon for our anyday secular sabbaths.

Will the godless heathens rise up to the emotional appeal of this voice of reason? Will they stop the sheep of the Good Shepherd in their attempt to build the endtimes of prophecy?

The fever pitch of the rising fear sings in the background. The drums of the deep places thunder and echo, the sound to the ears of the men and the goblins is, "DOOM, DOOM, DOOM." The men and goblins both, they tremble as the sound reverberates in their bones. They quietly whisper their versions the nature of the doom that is coming.

Do not doubt that it will come, but do not think that your feeble minds can imagine what shape it will take. Just continue to shiver, and to whisper--your jellybowls of brainflesh are sweetest when you fear. I shall be taking form to walk among you soon.

Holy shit! Cthulhu reads our blog!

Do we have a unified stance regarding Cthulu here at Astromen?
Should we rejoice for the cosmic attention or gibber in fear and madness as he approaches us?

I cannot think of a correct way to answer that. If I say "no" to Cthulhu, I am doomed. If I say yes, the result is the same.

In that case I propose we adopt a strict policy of nihilistic debauchery. I'll bring the whisky!

I second that!
