Hmmm. I'm not so sure I'm going to see the live action movie. Too many humans in the trailer.

Goldbug. ouch!

I love the introduction of Blur. "Shut up, Blur! Out of all the Autobots to survive... F@$K ME."

Nothing personal, Chad ;-) I just thought the joke about arbitrarily renaming your subordinates was the funniest part of the clip. Well, that, and Wheelie...

Although I do enjoy Michael Bay/Roland Emmerich movies as mega-action-movie-satire, I'm afraid that their could be too much "re-envisioning"/"we need to have human characters that humans can relate to" going on in the new film.

Also, the transformers themselves look to have an unnecessarily busy design -AND- they've ditched the Vince DiCola film-score work from the original Transformers Movie :-(

Once i found out Soundwave wasn't a tape player, but a helicoptor or something, I lost interest. You mess with Soundwave, you mess with my whole family!

Good thing that made no sense.

Truer words have never been written =D

I cannot even comprehend that concept. Soundwave = Attack helicoptor. So why is this robot's name Soundwave? Make a saving throw for continuity with your script writing skill.
Although making Soundwave a tiny Malaysian Mp3 player would not be very action movie oriented.

This "Soundwave podcast" brought to you by Pepsi!

I'm not so sure that the trailer was depicting Soundwave's voice in the "all we have to go on is this sound clip" bit. I think it might have been the transforming sound effect.

Beast Wars was by far the best Transformers incarnation specifically because of the lack of a human reference point, the later episodes when they are on Cybertron are the best.

I looked up Michael Bay on IMDB. Guess I never thought to look into the director responsible for Bad Boys and Armageddon. Now I get to spend time being incensed that this clown is remaking "The Birds" by Hitchcock.

I think a strong argument can be made that Michael Bay's attempts to make blockbuster action movies are consistently thwarted by his subconscious mind's overwhelming desire to crank out farcical Paul Verhoeven style social commentary, which all of his films actually end up being.

I whole heartedly recommend watching his films under the influence of your mind altering substance of choice while in the company of good friends. They are totally hysterical...

Oh, I don't need to be told about the joys of boozing and bad movies. :)

Never seen Armageddon or Bad Boys, though. I usually go for much lower budget fare.
