I am still with 6.06 LTS as it is quite stable and I read a lot of negative things for 6.10 in that regard since it had a much shorter development cycle (4 monthes to get back on the GNOME 6 month cycle.) 7.04 is getting rave reviews thus far and so I am thinking about doing a fresh install.

That's really big news! I upgraded to 7.04 "Fiesty Fawn" last weekend, a smooth transition from 6.10. Except that Beryl couldn't make the switch. :(
