Glorious Geek Power

D&D camp, circa 1982

I am slightly jealous.

Shippensburg is a 25 minute drive from my parents' house. Though I was playing D&D with my big brother and his friends before 1985, we didn't move to Pennsylvania until 1988, three years until after the camp closed. I did attend Computer Camp at Shippensburg for a summer. LOGO was taught, not in a problem solving context, but simply as transcribing instructions. They failed to communicate its LISP'y goodness.
