I saw this other one,by the same person, a couple weeks ago.
Higher order programming languages can be very useful tools to Artists. I myself plan on learning Python, because I could then script with Blender, Inkscape and GIMP. For a short while, I was considering learning Visual Basic scripting for AutoCAD. But then I would be a traitor and would die in the revolution.
