Shield Lands Ho!

Frank Frazetta, the King of Fantasy Art
is my inspiration for this coming Sunday's session of
The Shield Lands [TM]

(See you in the sandbox, Huzzah!)

What, you plan on running around with your shirt off? Maybe not so wise in regards to armor class...

The vampire is certainly appropriate. Man, those blood suckers cleaned our clocks last time...

BAH! I'm going to miss NWN again due to camping :-(

I did a report on Frank for my "Failure in Painting" class at SAIC. I think he started out working as an illustrator for Playboy...

Pete! I painted a a new area can I email it to you? it may still some work with townspeople; i.e. getting the smith to make armor and give out voucher's etc. but i figured it would at least be a good starting point!

Yes. E-mail it to me. My Hotmail or G-Mail account would be fine... won't have enough time to integrate it this week, but definitely next week.

FYI: I uploaded a hakpak with 3 new tilesets tonight, hopefully it will show up on the Vault by tomorrow afternoon. It's called "shld0805.exe" and here's the link.

i'm going to work a little bit on it today then if there are new tilesets. i'll send a "rough draft" of it tomorrow (monday). Just a teaser though, there's a monastery where Gilias grew up. and his Father is going to be the bishop or Patriarch of it.

i'm hoping that the monastery and the small hamlet it protects can be the farthest point north on the map that we've reached so far. just so that when we clear a swath through the monster populations there's like a safe haven to come out to on the other side.

(there will be places to advance to eventually but i haven't painted those areas yet)

You'll like the snow tileset I added. Its buildings are gorgeous. I broke the doors in it, unfortunately. I have to go in and renumber them in the model files. Expect a fix by next week.
