I'd wait until the 0.2 update to try it, though. This next update will bring rudimentary NPC interaction, and a number of other exciting changes. (Link.)

I botched my Microsoft system this week and had to re-install today. Hopefully I will have everything up and running sometime during tonight´s episode in "digging into the inferno".

Hello. The Terraria server will go up at the regular time today (Sunday the 12th): 2pm EST.
