The d20 "Call of Cthulhu" book has D&D statistics of the Great Old Ones; which are amusing.
"CTHULHU Colossal Great Old One (Demigod) (Water) Domains: Evil, Death, Destruction, Water Hit Dice 42d12+378 (882 hp) AC: 47 (-8 size, +1 Dex, +39 natural, +5 divine) ... Special qualities: Divine Qualities, damage reduction 40/+4, divine fast healing 50/round, SR 37, darkvision 60ft, water subtype, fire resistance 25, sonic resistance 25, alter size, alter form Saves: Fort +39, Ref +31, Will +37 Abilities: Str 42, Dex 12, Con 29, Int 33, Wis 27, Cha 29"
These statistics are piddling compared to some of the other Outer Gods and Great Old Ones. Yog-Sothoth has 1,920 hp, and Azathoth has 2,666 hp.
But I bet John McCain doesn't have anyhere near 882 hp, 30 tops. I'm presuming McCain is a 3rd or 4th level fighter, or perhaps a paladin who has lost his powers due to an alignment change away from Good.
